EDUCATION IN GERMANY
Germany currently has more than 300 institutions of higher education that include 82 universities, 132 such institutions that offer shorter and practically oriented courses, and other institutions. Summer (Starts in March).

UG-EDUCATION SYSTEM :
» Educational Requirement
The German education system for UG studies is such that the student must have 13 years of education. To complete this 13 years of education student first needs to complete a7.5 month German Language course from a German institute with a one year Pre-University course from the university(needs to clear an exam) and then begin the bachelors degree course. Fees for German Language course is 6000-7000Euro. Most of the International students get admission into state funded universities as there is no Tuition fee and the only expense is Euro 50-600(INR 42000 approx.) for each semester depends on a particular university At the time of the Visa the student has 2 offer letters, which is one for the German language course and the other from the university where he will study his engineering or business management. Very less English Taught universities so to study in English Taught universities student needs to spend 12000Euro-22000Euro.
» Academics &Tests Required
Student should have minimum 60% in Higher Secondary School (12th) Student should give IELTS or TOEFL and score minimum 6 band in IELTS or 80 in TOEFL.
PG-EDUCATION SYSTEM :
In Germany the education system of Maters program are divided in to two types :
» UNIVERSITAT
Universitat are more industry oriented. Provides 24 months course (18 classroom study +6months Internship).Mostly for PhD students.
» FACHOCHSCHULE(UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCE)
These are much industry oriented. Provides 18 months course (12 classroom study+6months Internship) (70 to 80% students absorbed by the company of Internship.).
Educational Requirement
There are 2 ways of getting entry into Master’s program.
» 68% in graduation -
Students can get directly get into English Taught Universities but needs to do German Basic A1 level. This is conducted by German education body GOETHE .Only 81 universities are English Taught universities open to South Asian students .Minimum Tuition Fees(50Euro-600Euro)varies from course to course and university to university.

Students need to do 9 months German language course from the German University and the cost for the course is around Euro 6000-7000(INR-4-5Lakh approx.) and then begin the master course. Masters program will be taught in German Language at University.
